Highland - VG
Monday evening the Warriors took on the Highland Tartans at Highland View Academy. Not only was the weather drenching, so were the Lady Warriors. They dominated the game and soaked the Tartans with a final score of 25 to 63. The team shot an astounding 92% from the foul line. Coming off the boards, Rebecca, Sarah and Maggie controlled the ball on rebounds. Rebecca had 10 rebounds for the night with Sarah pulling in 9 and Maggie nabbing 7.
Kathryn led the team in blocks for the evening with two! The Warrior's defense was stifling. Rebecca had 4 steals and Liz and Charity each had 3.
The girls looked good keeping the ball moving and watching for opportunities to dish it off. Rebecca had 6 assits, Sarah had 3 and Ana and Charity each had 2.
The unselfishness of the team really contributed to the well rounded scoring. There was a balanced attack with four different players scoring in double figures. Way to Go Warriors. The Girls Varsity team takes on the CHEN Bravehearts on Tuesday in Hallethorpe, MD.
