The middle school boys' next opponent was the Mount Airy Christian Academy Lions. As the game started, the Warriors had a clear height advantage, and as time passed they also proved to be better skilled. The boys tried a press which worked well, having many great assists leading to easy layups. Many of the boys got to play by the second half, having a lead at halftime of 36-14. The second half wasn't much different, the Warriors dominating in every area. All the boys got lots of playing time and showed great teamwork. They pulled off a big win of 50-36.
Al Pedroza led the team with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. Right behind him was Noah Passarelli with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Will Gammell played well with 8 points, 9 rebounds, and an assist. Benjamin Passarelli had 5 points, 2 boards, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Zach Althoff scored 3 points and pulled down a board. Following him was Daniel Messinger with a basket, 3 boards, 2 assists, 3 steals, and a block. Zachariah Weaver had 2 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal. Each player did great and contributed to the win.
