The Warrior boys were up next to challenge the Adams County Christian Academy Rams. All twelve boys were looking sharp and ready to play.
And the boys’ first quarter made up for any lack of action in the girls’ first quarter J They moved the ball fast and took the lead within the first couple minutes of play. The boys kept up the intensity all the way until halftime, leaving the fans to cheer them on their way out to the locker room.
After halftime the Rams played some tight defense and caught up with the Warriors. It was a close game to the very end with the Warriors holding on and ending up on top 55-53.
Chris Leao led the team in scoring with 18. Other contributors to the scoreboard were John Koffman (8), Joel Kehr (8), Toby McGrath (6), Josiah Carstens (6), Daniel Passarelli (5), and Michael Owens (4). Toby hauled in 12 rebounds with Chris (9) and Daniel (5) also crashing the boards. Josiah led the team in assists with 6 for the night with John right behind him with 5.
