The Warrior boys had an early start on Saturday and after a tough loss the night before were more than ready to take on the Golden Eagles.
The boys looked strong from the very start of the game! Each player was focused, played tough defense, and boxed out. The eagles couldn’t keep up!
It was clear the Warriors were a stronger team and this allowed every player to get a good amount of court time. J
Leading the entire game the Warriors finished out on top with the final score 60 - 33. The boys played unselfish ball and each player contributed greatly to this win. John Koffman led the team with 19 points; followed by Daniel Passarelli (11), Chris Leao (8), Toby McGrath (6), Michael Pefley (5), Josiah Carstens (5), Jonathan Pefley (4), and Michael Owens (2). Toby pulled down 10 rebounds with Jonathan and Michael Pefley (5), Chris (4), John, Daniel, and Michael Owens (3), and Jason with 2. Way to crash the boards, Warriors! Daniel led the team in assists, dishing out 6. Josiah was right behind him with 5, and Jason led the team in steals, taking 3.
The Warriors played strong until the very end and had a great game. Good job Warriors!
