The Varsity team took on the Frederick Christian Academy Defenders on Thursday night at FCA. The Warriors controlled the game from the tip off to the final buzzer. All the girls had the opportunity to play and to contribute to the win.
Rebecca Reifsnider had 11 rebounds and Maggie Quick was second in rebounding for the night with 6. Krista Duke crashed the boards also with 5 strong rebounds.
Liz Catoe had 4 steals as did Charity Poole. Ashley Kelly launched another 3 during the game! Rebecca, in addition to her rebounding, also dominated with 5 blocks and 2 steals. The girls looked good. Their passing and positioning gave them the advantage for all four quarters. The final score was Warriors 51, Defenders 24.
