Carlisle

Even the refs were smiling last night as the Warriors met the Crusaders in Carlisle, PA.
The Middle School girls were the first to take the floor. This was a great opportunity for all of our girls to get some solid playing time. Maggie Quick lead the way with 6 defensive rebounds while Emily Passarelli and Gabrielle Freese both had 5 defensive rebounds.

Kathryn Romanchuk topped the team in offensive rebounds with 7 while Maggie and Emily both had 5. Emily Passarelli helped with 3 assists and Maggie kept things going with 4 steals and 2 blocks.

The vigorous play of Mckenzie Quick, Kara Brown, Kirsten Blickenstaff, Amanda Stewart and Joanna Hughes held the Crusaders to 9 points.

Kirsten, Mckenzie and Emily P. found themselves in foul trouble, but coach John was heard to say..."I'm happy they're in the game giving it all they've got!" The final score was Warriors 26, Crusaders 9. The Middle School team's record is now 3-0.
The Middle School Boys took the court second and they played another great game Monday night against Carlisle Christian Academy.

They led from start to finish with the final score 40-23. This was another game that allowed our younger and less experienced players to get a lot of court time. As in their last game, the Warriors started fast, racing to a 13-5 first quarter lead and then a 25-9 halftime lead. Chris Lamont (16) and Josiah Carstens (10) led the Warriors in scoring.

Other scorers included Christopher Leao (6), and Caleb Abel. Jacob Hughes, Daniel Passarelli, and Nathan Williams each added 2 points to the Warrior total. The 3-0 boys next take on Adams County Christian Academy on January 9.
The final game of the night was the Varsity Warriors. After a slow, low scoring start, the Warriors found their game in the second half. They began to hit their shots and crash the boards with much more determination.

Rebecca Reifsnider had a stellar night with 21 points, 19 rebounds and 7 blocks.

Charity Poole contributed to the Warrior win with 7 rebounds. Jessica Hughes also pulled down 4 rebounds.

All the Lady Warriors had time on the hardwood Monday night. The team win was a definite group effort. The final score was Warriors 31-Carlisle Christian 14. The Warriors have a record of 4 wins, 4 loses. Their next game will be at Adams County Christian School on Friday night.
