Carlisle - MSG

The Middle School girls traveled to Carlisle for the first time this season.  The game started out at a snail's pace.  The end of the first quarter saw the score tied at 2.  Turnovers were the norm at the start of the game.  The Warriors seemed to be coming out of snow shock...but they found their stride in the second quarter.  The Warriors outscored Carlisle 8 to 6.  The score at halftime was 10 to 8 in favor of the Warriors.  Second half action was neck and neck.  Both teams came out ready to play.  Carlisle outscored the Warriors in the third quarter by one.  In the fourth quarter the Warriors found themselves down. A key free throw by Jackie Lamont sparked the Warriors to a three point victory.  Kathryn Romanchuk led the team with 12 points.  She had 13 rebounds, 5 blocks and 3 steals.  Gabrielle Freese pulled in 10 rebounds.  Emma Matthews lead the team in steals with 5 for the night.  Joanna Hughes had 6 monster blocks.  The girls played hard and came away with their final victory for the season.  Way to go Lady Warriors!  The Middle School Girls ended their season with a record of 9-2.
