Frederick Christian Academy (VB)
For the second time of the season the boys were scheduled to play Frederick Christian Academy, a strong but comparable team to the Warriors. The varsity guys history with FCA is a tough one, the boys always seeming to have an off night when they play them. Hoping to break that pattern, the guys came out hoping to come away with a win. The boys started slow, having a very off shooting night and letting several baseline shots go. Being down 21-9 at the start of the second quarter, the boys made a run and started to get shots through the net, placing the score 36 to 28 at halftime in favor of FCA. The third quarter wasn't as strong as the previous one, the Warriors still struggling to hit a shot and the Defenders having a great night as they kept hitting shot after shot. With determination, the Warriors kept playing hard and started to hit the shots in the last 3 minutes of the game, but were unable to close the 10 point gap of 66-56 at the end of the game. Although an off night in shooting, the guys played great defense and kept shining in Godlt character through the entire game.
Daniel Passarelli led the team with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. Toby McGrath came next with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and an assist. Chris Leao had 8 points, 5 rebounds, and a block. Leesburg Christian Academy (VB)
The varsity boys closed out the night for the Leesburg Lion's as the middle school boys and varisty girls had played before them in the special Valentines Day night. The opposing team was big, but that didn't mean anything to the Warriors as they kept the score close and had the lead almost the entire second half. Numerous 3-pointers, great layups, and quick putbacks proved to the Lions that they would really have to shut down the inside to get a chance in winning. As the third quarter started, the guys were determined and ready to take the game and run with it, which is exactly what they did, putting their lead up to 14 at one point. In the last few minutes the Lions went on a scoring streak and put the score a little closer than expected, but still far enough for the Warriors to be safe. The boys made strong passes which led to open shots and excellent defense, securing a 50-35 win.
Daniel Passarelli led the team with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, an assist, and a block. Joel Kehr followed him with 13 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and a steal. Toby McGrath scored 6 points plus 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Jonathan Pefley also scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block. Chris Leao had 3 points, 4 rebounds, an assist, steal, and block. Josiah Carstens had 3 points plus 2 rebounds, 8 assists, and a steal.

Carroll Christian Academy (VB)
The varsity boys were more than ready to take on the Carroll Christian Academy Patriots after the varsity girl's game. Earlier in the year, the boys had defeated the Patriots, though not as easily as they could have because they played a man-to-man defense which didn't work as well. Lesson learned, the guys started with a zone defense, showing everyone the game was under control. The score was closer in the first quarter, but as time went on the boys picked up their game and put the score farther and farther apart. They pulled off a big win, leaving the final score 61-45.
Joel Kehr led the team with 18 points, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a rebound. Chris Leao came next with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Daniel Passarelli also scored 11 points along with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Toby McGrath had a double-double of 10 points, 12 rebounds, and an assist. Josiah Carstens had 8 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists, and a steal. Jonathan Pefley scored a basket along with 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block.

Carroll Christian Academy (VG)
The varisty girls next game was against the Carroll Christian Academy Patriots. The last time the girls played the Patriots was the Warriors' second game of the season, in which they had lost by around 30 points. Though the Patriots were bigger and better skilled, the ladies were ready to play a good game. The game started slow, but the Warriors played well considering the last time the two teams had met. The score at the end of the first half being 14-7 in the Patriots favor, but 5 of those 14 points were buzzer beaters. The third quarter wasn't as pretty, the Patriots finding the gaps in the Warriors defense and scoring numerous baskets. Though down by more than ten, the Warriors never gave up and pulled in a couple more baskets to fnish the game on bottom with the score being 33-23. Although the ladies didn't win, they were happy with how much they had improved and matured since the last time the two teams had played. Good game ladies!
