The varisty girls next game was against the Carroll Christian Academy Patriots. The last time the girls played the Patriots was the Warriors' second game of the season, in which they had lost by around 30 points. Though the Patriots were bigger and better skilled, the ladies were ready to play a good game. The game started slow, but the Warriors played well considering the last time the two teams had met. The score at the end of the first half being 14-7 in the Patriots favor, but 5 of those 14 points were buzzer beaters. The third quarter wasn't as pretty, the Patriots finding the gaps in the Warriors defense and scoring numerous baskets. Though down by more than ten, the Warriors never gave up and pulled in a couple more baskets to fnish the game on bottom with the score being 33-23. Although the ladies didn't win, they were happy with how much they had improved and matured since the last time the two teams had played. Good game ladies!
