The varsity girls were the last team of the night to take on the Carroll Christian Academy Patriots, and though it was obvious that the Patriots had a size and experience advantage, the Warrior ladies were ready to give the game their best shot.
Throughout the game the ladies struggled against the Patriots' consistent shot. However, the ladies played pretty good defense during the game. They instituted "swing" into their offense, a relatively new play for most of the ladies. Even though they got the hang of it, the Warriors were unable to close the 20-points gap at the end of the 3rd quarter.
During the fourth quarter, all the ladies got playing time. A special shout-out to all the new team members who played extremely well against a very experienced team! Many of the girls had rebounds and baskets. They were able to snag a few steals too; and the assists were key. The game ended with the score of 46-19, but the Warrior ladies had given it their best.
