The middle school boys kicked off their season agaisnt the County Christian School Catamounts. They were pumped and very excited to play. The boys started the game with a quick basket, which was quickly returned by the Catamounts just as fast. But the boys kept up their lead until the last few seconds of the second quarter in which the Catamounts tied the game at 21 to finish the first half of the game.
The second half proved to be just as intense, each team showing impressive offense and tight defense. The Warriors unfortunately lost their lead the last few minutes of the game, and lost 45-36. The teams were truly evenly matched; and the boys showed much improvement from the year before.
Leading the team for the night was Al Pedroza having a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Following him was Daniel Messinger with 9 points. Noah Passarelli had 5 points. Benjamin Passarelli scored 4 points.
Even though it wasn't a win, the boys played very well and the fans couldn't be more proud. Good game boys!
