The middle school boys began the Warriors' first triple-header of the season against the Carroll Christian Academy Patriots. Last year the boys had lost to the Patriots by one point, and were more than ready to have their long awaited re-match. And what a re-match it was, from the start the Warriors proved their improvement, shutting down the Patriots to only 7 points compared to the Warriors 22 at the end of the first half. The 2nd half was no different, each player getting to play around a whole quarter! Total domination in every area was clear, as shown by the final score of 44-9.
Al Pedroza was one of the high scorers of the night, having 9 points and 9 rebounds. Noah Passarelli also led the team in scoring with 9 points and a board. Right behind them was Benjamin Passarelli with 8 points, 5 steals, and 2 assists. Will Gammal had 4 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 steals along with Daniel Messinger also having 4 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. Andrew Mason had 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals as well as Jonathan Kehr also with 3 points, an assist, and a steal. Zach Althoff scored a basket, pulled down 5 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists.
It was a great game, each player contributing greatly and showing Godly character through the whole thing. Great game boys!
