The varsity guys next opponent was the Cumberland Valley Christian School. Unfortunately the boys had a small bench due to different injuries and sickness. But our boys pressed through the challenges and gave Cumberland Valley some tough competition the whole game through. They showed excellent perseverance and great teamwork. They kept tight with Cumberland until the last few minutes of the game, in which Cumberland pulled ahead leaving the final score 62-55.
Daniel Passarelli led the team in scoring with 17 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and a steal. Following him was Joel Kehr with 11 points, 2 assists, and a steal. Toby McGrath was right behind him with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal and block. Josiah Carstens came next with 9 points, 3 assists, and 2 boards. Jonathan Pefley had 8 points, 15 rebounds, 2 steals, and an assist.
Though another loss, the guys played well and showed Godly character. They look forward to their next game against the Carroll Christian Patriots to start the upcoming week.
