The Warriors took their turn next to play the Carlisle Knights, and as it being the 1st game of the season, they were pumped and ready to play. The Knights were around the same height as the Warriors and it was a good match-up from the beginning.
The Warriors hung in there through out the whole 1st half, never down by more than a few points. They played strong defense and left the fans cheering them on their way to the locker room.
They came out just as strong the 3rd quarter, only being down 16-18 half-way through the 4th quarter.
At the end of the 4th quarter, the Knights got several steals and the easy lay-ups, and by the time the final buzzer went off the score was 22-16.Daniel Messinger and Benjamin Passarelli led the team in scoring, having 4 points each. Following them was Douglas Flynn, Al Pedroza, Jonathan Leao, and Zach Althoff all with 2 points each.
Even though the Warriors lost, they played hard and well, considering it was the 1st game of the season. Great job Warriors!
