In the first night of the New Life Christian School Shoot-Out Tournament the Warriors were set to play Maryland School for the Deaf. MSD is known for skill and speed. That night brought no surprises.
There was quite a height difference, and the Orioles made quick passes down low and got many easy shots. The Warriors had trouble against the Orioles swarming defense and found themselves trailing from start to finish.
But the boys didn’t give up, and in the 2nd half the Warriors made some sharp passes and got several good looks to shoot.
Everyone contributed to the game. Benjamin Passarelli led the team with 4 points. Following him was Brandon Stewart (3), Daniel Messinger (2) and Noah Passarelli (2).
Even though they lost, the Warriors played hard and never gave up. Great job boys!
