After a tough loss to the New Life Rams in the opener of the New Life Christian School Shoot-Out Tournament on Friday, the Warriors played Mt. Airy Christian Academy in the consolation game on Saturday at New Life.
It was a difficult match-up for the Warriors as the Mt. Airy squad started quickly and kept the pressure up on the Warriors. And in addition, the third of three games in three days took its toll on the Warriors.
The scoring for the Warriors was evenly distributed with Daniel Passarelli having 11, Chris Leao 9, Toby McGrath 8, John Koffman 6, Josiah Carstens 5, Alex Leao 2, Michael Pefley 2, and Jonathan Pefley 1. For rebounds, Toby lead with 12, Chris had 6, John had 4, Alex had 2, and several boys had 1. John led with 5 assists, Josiah 3, and several boys had 1. Toby and Chris each had 2 blocks for the game.
Despite the tough loss, the Warrior demonstrated godly character throughout the game and gave a strong effort.
