Highland View Christian Academy (VB)

For the second time of the season the Warrior guys were plyaing Highland View Christian Academy. The first time the two teams played, the Warriors had won by around ten points, but they knew they had to play well to beat them again. The game started slow, the Warriors only having 10 to Highland View's 15 points at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was just as slow, though the Warriors defense kept Highland View to only 15 points, scoring 4 points themselves put them down 14-15 at halftime. In the second half, the Warriors finally started playing like they had come to play basketball. Hitting shots and being scrappy on defense secured a good win of 53 to 34 to finish the game.
Joel Kehr led the team with 18 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a board. Josiah Carstens had a great game with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals, and a block. Toby came next scoring 4 points along with 12 rebounds, and an assist, steal, and block. Jonathan Pefley had 3 points and 4 boards. Michael Pefley scored a basket along with a rebound and steal.
