Highland View Academy (VB)

The Warriors Varsity Boys team traveled back to Highland View Academy on Monday night to take on the Tartans. The two teams had met the week before, with the Warriors pulling out a 9-point win.
The Warriors came out strong, making a layup right away. They played great defense and took a 12-8 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Tartans came out in the second quarter ready to take the lead, hitting 3's and getting the ball inside, but the Warriors' defense and unselfish offense kept them from taking the lead. The score at halftime was 27-23.
Both teams came back from halftime pumped, making great passes leading to open shots. At the end of three quarters the score was 41-39 with the Warriors in the lead. With the lead of only two, the Warriors came out and played excellent. They got a good lead, and kept it till the end. The final score was 60-55.
Chris Leao played an excellent game having a double-double with 17 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal, and a block. John Koffman had 13 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block. Daniel Passarelli was right behind him with 12 points and an assist. Toby McGrath scored 10 points, pulled down 7 rebounds, and had 2 assists. Josiah Carstens had 3 points, 1 assist, and a steal. Jason Kehr also scored 3 points and Joel Kehr 2 points. Jonathan Pefley pulled down 2 boards.

It was another great win for the Warriors. Great game guys!
