All the Warrior teams traveled up to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, for a game against the Adams County Christian Academy Rams. The middle school boys played second, and came out pumped and ready to play.
They came out strong, nailing two 3-pointers right away. At the end of the 1st quarter the Warriors were down 8-6. In the 2nd quarter, though, the Rams picked up their game and outscored the Warriors, leaving the score 20-9 at half.
The boys didn’t give up though, and kept the intensity. They made sharp passes and had many good looks to shoot inside the paint. At the end of the 3rd quarter the Warriors were trailing 27-16. The Rams’ tight defense kept the Warriors from pulling out a win, the final score being 37-21.
Each of the boys had a big part in the game. Noah Passarelli led the team with 8 points, following him was Daniel Messinger with 6 points and Benjamin Passarelli hitting two 3-pointers, equaling 6 points. Daniel led the team with 5 rebounds, following him was Noah (4), Josiah Freese (3), and Jonathan Leao, Brandon Stewart, Zach Althoff, Al Pedroza, and Benjamin all with 1 rebound. Great job on the boards boys! Benjamin and Josiah led the team with 2 assists, with Daniel, Zach, and Noah all with 1. Daniel and Noah led the team with a steal each, and Al led the team with 2 blocks.
The Warriors were tough till the end and played with Godly character through the whole game. Great job boys!
