The varsity girls drove up to Needmore, Pennsylvania, to take on Fulton County Community Christian School. The Warriors came out pumped and ready to play, but by halftime the Warriors were down 16-8.
In the second half the Warriors proved to have an off game, losing 38-14, and the girls left not really wanting to talk about the game too much.
Ashley Kelly led with 5 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Gabrielle Freese had 4 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal, and a block. Emily Passarelli had 9 boards, 4 blocks, and a steal. Abby Messinger contributed 2 points, 3 rebounds, and a steal. Emma Matthews had 3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block. Amanda Stewart chipped in 5 boards and an assist.
It was a very rough game, but the ladies knew they would play them again, hopefully with a better outcome.
