The varsity boys were next to take the court; and being told by the girls to make up for their game, the boys came out pumped and ready to play. And make up the guys did.
It was a fast paced game from the very beginning with both teams scoring back to back. At the end of the 1st quarter, the Warriors were down by 1 point, the score being 19-18. Both teams played tight defense and great offense, with the score 33-30 at halftime in favor of Fulton County. The 3rd quarter action was just as fast paced and intense, and the Warriors found themselves down 54-39 at the end of the quarter. But in the 4th quarter the Warriors played some excellent ball, not only playing amazing defense and getting many rebounds, but outscoring Fulton County 27-12 in the quarter. Andrew Leaman hit a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to play, sealing the victory and the Warriors pulled down an excellent win. The final score was 76-66.
Chris Leao led the team with a double-double, having 23 points, 13 rebounds, and a block. John Koffman had 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Toby McGrath had 9 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Daniel Passarelli contributed 8 points, 2 assists, and a steal. Joel Kehr contributed 6 points and 2 assists. Josiah Carstens had 5 points, 7 assists, and 2 boards. Alex Leao had 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jason Kehr chipped in 2 points, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Andrew contributed 3 points.
It was an excellent game, not only in playing but through the Godly character each Warrior portrayed. Great game guys!
