New Life - VG
The long awaited Varsity girls game against the New Life Christian Rams turned out to be well worth the price of admission.....if you were a Warrior. The Lady Warriors came out ready to play and the pace was fast and aggressive.
Heavy defense by the Warriors held the Rams to only 11 points in the first half. Their leading scorer, was kept to only one bucket in the first half. Rebecca Reifsnider had 10 rebounds for the night and Sarah Reifsnider and Charity Poole each had 5.
Fast breaks and quick passing were key during the game. Liz Catoe led the team in assists and steals with 8 and 4 respectively. Rebecca Reifsnider had 3 steals and Maggie Quick and Charity Poole each had 2.
The Lady Warriors finish this game on a 7 game winning streak. The final score was 35-46 with the Warriors coming out victorious.
