Senior Day - MSG
The Middle School Girls kicked off Senior Day, on Saturday January 23rd. They tipped off at 12:30 and were ready for action. The ninth graders were unable to play in this game, but were valuable assets on the bench cheering and encouraging their team-mates.
The game was fast paced, but by looking at the score, you wouldn't have known it. At half-time the score was tied at 2. In the second half, the Warrior girls got hot scoring 15 points. They held the Flames to 7 points in the second half.
The Warriors played a very tight game only giving up 8 fouls for the entire match. They shot 50% from the foul line for the night. Joanna Hughes led the team in rebounds bringing down 11 for the night.
Kirsten Blickenstaff pulled down 9 rebounds and Kara Brown grabbed 8! Joanna Hughes stole the ball four times and Kirsten nabbed it 3 times. The girls played well, never giving up and continuing to give their all. The Middle School girls are 6 and 1 for the season.
